System
Your car´s manufacturer issues Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) about your car
to the dealerships. These same TSB's are available to us through our SHOPKEY by Mitchell Info Systems Computer
System.
The SHOPKEY Computer System is used in conjunction with our complete up-to-date manual
library. The SHOPKEY is a computer automated information system that covers most
makes and models of cars. The information supplied by the SHOPKEY is largely compiled
from vehicle manufacturers and is updated on a quarterly basis. Many aspects of vehicle
maintenance and repair are covered under separate sections in the SHOPKEY.
Technical Service Bulletins contain information on certain areas and characteristics
of a vehicle that the manufacturer recognizes as common problem areas. Many of these
problems could not be found without TSBs.
Technical Service Bulletins can be extremely helpful in diagnosing problems such as:
leaks, squeaks, electrical failures, driver's comfort, and driveability, just to
name a few.
