Practice towing especially if it is the first time. Make sure your trailer brakes
work if your trailer is so equipped. Double check the lights on your vehicle and the lights on whatever you are towing. Have the wheel bearings on your trailer been packed recently? Make sure that you have a spare tire, jack, and lug nuts for your trailer.
