Update your air conditioning system SOON and save money
The Federal Government is passing mandates that are rapidly phasing out R-12 Freon (air conditioning fluid). These mandates are attempts to save the ozone layer. Consequently the cost of R-12 is now over $35 a pound and rising.
The new alternative to R-12 Freon is called R134A, used in all late model vehicles since 1995. R134A costs $12 a pound and can be installed into an R-12 air conditioning system at a reasonable price. Retrofit kits are now readily available for almost any R-12 system. We are sure that it will be more cost effective to retrofit most R-12 systems with this new
R134A by next summer. The price for system installation will vary according to vehicle make and model. For further info just call us or stop by A Street.
